Mutations data frames Tiny as a miniature crop variant with reduced base value. It is growth-category, not weather. There is no Tiny weather row; avoid neglect-style storytelling that invents timers the catalog does not define.
Tiny Mutation Grow a Garden
Tiny is the growth-slot penalty you hope never locks: ×0.5, non-stackable, and mutually exclusive with Mega and every other growth mutation — a miniature tag that teaches exclusivity the expensive way.
How to trigger
Stacking rules
Tiny occupies the exclusive growth lane at ×0.5 and is marked non-stackable. It conflicts with Mega directly and with all other growth IDs via the exclusive growth group — Golden, Rainbow, Shiny, Verdant, Overgrown, and the rest cannot share the crop. Environmental tags still apply through the env bracket and can soften the blow, but they never restore a full growth multiplier while Tiny holds the slot.

Tiny value by weight
Tiny applies a 0.5× multiplier in the growth bracket. The table below shows the value it adds to a reference crop (base 50) across common harvest weights, so you can gauge how much this tag is worth before chasing it.
| Weight | Base crop value | With Tiny (0.5×) | Value added |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 kg | 50 | 25 | +-25 |
| 2 kg | 200 | 100 | +-100 |
| 5 kg | 1.25K | 625 | +-625 |
| 10 kg | 5K | 2.5K | +-2.5K |
Tiny value impact
Why ×0.5 hurts more than it looks
cropValue uses the winning growth multiplier, not a sum of growth tags. Tiny sets growthMultiplier to 0.5. On a 10,000 base at 1 kg with no env tags: 10,000 × 1 × 0.5 = 5,000. The same crop with Golden (×20) would be 200,000 before env — a forty-fold swing from the growth lane alone.
Shocked (envBracket 125) multiplies after growth. A Tiny + Shocked harvest is still halved in the growth factor relative to a clean Golden + Shocked run. Env rescue is real math, not a full undo.
Mega conflict and trade honesty
Mega (×3 growth, non-stackable) and Tiny cannot coexist. Size paths are opposites in the conflict map. If Tiny is already locked, do not advertise Mega weight fantasy on the same plant.
Disclose Tiny clearly in listings. Pricing a miniature growth crop as Golden-tier bait burns trust faster than the Sheckle gap you hoped to hide.
Common questions
- Can Tiny stack with Shiny or Verdant?
- No. All growth mutations are exclusive. Tiny also conflicts with Mega as a dedicated pair, and stackable is false on the Tiny entry.
- Do environmental tags remove Tiny?
- No. Env tags use the separate env bracket. Tiny keeps the growth multiplier at ×0.5 until the crop is gone or replaced by a different growth identity on a new plant.
