The first sparkle mutation most players see teaches the growth-slot rule the hard way — Shiny is common, stack-friendly in conversation, but mathematically alone it barely moves needle on heavy crops.
How to trigger
Shiny procs from early growth cycles, beginner-friendly harvest luck, and low-tier growth pets. Any crop can roll Shiny without weather gates. Consistent care and basic fertilizer nudge proc rates during the first farming hours.
Stacking rules
Shiny holds the growth slot at 5× — Golden (20×) and Rainbow (50×) replace it when they proc. Shiny does not stack additively with other growth tags. Environmental mutations stack on top independently. Useful as placeholder growth tier while upgrading pet roster.
