Hatch time here is baseMinutes × (1 − min(0.9, sum of helper boosts)). Boosts add as decimals (15% = 0.15); they do not multiply each other. Three helpers at 15%, 20%, and 25% become 60% reduction, not a compounded product. Anything past 90% is wasted on the timer—extra hatch pets only cost roster slots you could spend on mutation or XP roles.
Baselines in this egg table
Selecting an egg loads its stored base minutes. Examples from the dataset: Basic 5, Uncommon 15, Rare 30, Bug 20, Mushroom 45, Ocean 50, Event 30, Epic 60, Spirit 75, Prehistoric 90, Legendary 120, Mythical 180, Divine 240, Huge 300, Prismatic 360. Longer bases benefit most from approaching the cap; a Legendary egg at 90% finishes in 12 minutes instead of two hours.
Helpers listed in the tool (and the soft ceiling they hit alone)
Toggle presets map to fixed additive values: Blood Kiwi +15%, Bald Eagle +10%, Rooster +8%, Chicken +5%, Parrot +5%, Owl +4%, Penguin +3%. Equipping every listed helper sums to 50%—useful, but still 40 points short of the cap. If your live tooltip shows different percentages, treat the toggles as planning defaults and mentally adjust; the math still caps at 90%. Reaching the hard cap usually means stronger or additional hatch passives beyond this preset row.
Opportunity-cost planning
- Pick the egg you will actually queue next and note reduced time at your current helper set.
- Ask whether another +5–10% hatch pet is worth dropping a mutation or XP specialist for that window. If you are already near 90%, the answer is almost always no.
- Prefer maxing reduction on long eggs (Legendary and above) during egg-heavy sessions; keep mutation auras equipped when you are farming weather instead of hatching.
- After the hatch, log hatch weight on valuable pulls and classify with the pet weight calculator; species expectations live on the tier list and new pets guide.
Multi-egg workflow
Queue the next egg before the current timer ends so the garden does not idle between hatches. For a block of similar eggs, lock a helper set once, read reduced minutes once, then multiply by count—five Epic eggs at 33% reduction (Kiwi + Eagle + Rooster) are about 40 minutes each, not five full hours. Stagger rarities when storage or attention is limited: finish short Basics or Bug eggs under a light helper team, then swap to a heavier hatch stack only while Legendary or Prismatic timers are running. Possible-pet lists under the result are roster hints for that egg type, not guaranteed drop rates.
