This dupe calculator compares one pet species and one serial number against community-reported ranges stored in this site's dupe list. On Check Serial, it parses the number (optional leading #), then tests whether that integer falls inside any recorded range for the selected pet slug. A hit shows the matching range, notes, and reported date from that record. Pets with known batches also list those ranges in the table below the form.
What a flag means — and what it does not
A "Likely Duped" result means the serial sits inside a listed suspicious batch for that species (for example Huge Cat #004821–#004895, Capybara #001204–#001231, or other rows in the local dataset). It is a risk signal for traders, not a court verdict, ban notice, or proof that Roblox or the game studio has actioned that specific pet. Notes on each record are community context (exploit waves, trade-history advice) — they are not live server state.
False confidence from a clean result
"Not on Dupe List" only means no current local range contains that serial for that pet. New exploit batches can exist before they are added; ranges can be incomplete; species without rows still need normal trade caution. Appearance, age, and abilities can look identical on duplicated and legitimate pets, so a green panel must never be treated as a guarantee of legitimacy or a reason to skip screenshots and provenance questions.
Evidence-based workflow before you accept
- Require the seller to disclose species and serial before agreeing on price — refusal is itself a reason to stop.
- Run the serial here; if it matches a range, refuse or renegotiate with eyes open about rollback risk.
- If it does not match, still verify hatch weight and stats with the pet weight calculator and compare totals in the WFL trade calculator.
- Prefer screenshot proof of hatch or prior ownership on high-value pets; one clean pet in a bundle does not clear the others — check every serial.
- Submit newly suspected ranges via the contact page with species, range, and context so the list can be reviewed.
