Looking for a gag2 calculator? Grow a Garden 2 uses a separate crop catalog and sell formula from the original game. This page reads only the local GAG2 crop and mutation tables — bases from Carrot through Dragon's Breath (including Mythic and Super rarities) — and must not be mixed with classic GAG crop IDs or stacking rules. For original-game harvests, use the main crop value calculator.
Formula implemented in this calculator
Estimated sell price is base × weight² × mutation multiplier × (1 − decay) × (1 + friend boost). Weight is kilograms you enter; squaring means small kg errors scale quickly. Mutation is a single selected multiplier from the GAG2 list (or ×1 when None is selected) — unlike classic GAG, there is no growth-slot plus environmental-bracket stack here. Friend boost is capped at 70% in the UI. Decay is a 0–100% slider that reduces price by the complementary factor (0% decay leaves the full product; 100% decay zeros the estimate).
Aurora and other GAG2 mutations (as listed)
Mutations are exclusive one-at-a-time choices with fixed multipliers from the GAG2 dataset: Aurora ×90, Bloodlit ×70, Starstruck ×50, Rainbow ×30, Electric ×25, Frozen ×20, Gold ×10, and Chained ×8. Aurora is simply the highest multiplier in that table — the calculator does not add weather schedules, proc odds, or stacking with a second mutation. Descriptions such as northern-lights or blood-moon flavor text are labels in the data file; the math only applies the chosen × factor.
Decay as implemented — not a full spoilage simulator
Decay here is a direct percentage haircut on the computed sell price after weight and mutation. Set 0% for a fresh harvest assumption and raise it when you want to model spoiled produce reducing payout. The tool does not track time-since-harvest clocks or inventory ticks; you choose the percentage to match what you observe or want to compare.
Workflow: pick the GAG2 crop, enter harvest weight, select at most one mutation, set friend boost and decay, then read the estimated Sheckles. Cross-check in-game sells when possible — this estimate mirrors the local formula only, not a live server quote.
