mutations.ts describes warm amber luminescence from ancient amber rain events. Category event, multiplier 64, stackable true. No Amber Glow line exists in weather.ts; treat the mutation description as the documented source and skip invented rain-phase timers.
Amber Glow Mutation Grow a Garden
Amber Glow is the luminescent dig sibling—64× event environmental weight that reads warmer than solid Amber resin and sits just under Ancient’s 65× fossil tier.
How to trigger
Stacking rules
Amber Glow joins the env list: growth × [1 + (sum − count)]. Solo → 64. With Amber (56×): sum 120, n = 2 → 119. With Ancient (65×) as a third: sum 185, n = 3 → 183. Never claim 64 × 56 × 65. Growth exclusivity unchanged. No CONFLICT_PAIRS row names Amber Glow.

Amber Glow value by weight
Amber Glow applies a 64× multiplier in the event bracket. The table below shows the value it adds to a reference crop (base 50) across common harvest weights, so you can gauge how much this tag is worth before chasing it.
| Weight | Base crop value | With Amber Glow (64×) | Value added |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 kg | 50 | 3.2K | +3.15K |
| 2 kg | 200 | 12.8K | +12.6K |
| 5 kg | 1.25K | 80K | +78.8K |
| 10 kg | 5K | 32K | +315K |
Amber Glow value impact
Glow versus resin in the same bracket
Traders sometimes treat Amber Glow as a replacement for Amber. In data they are parallel environmental tags. A dual Amber + Amber Glow harvest is sum-and-count math, not an upgrade overwrite. Screenshot both icons; glow alone still sells as 64 in the bracket.
Petrified (48×) can pad the same fossil theme. Amber Glow + Petrified → sum 112, count 2 → 111. Add growth afterward—do not fold Rainbow into the env product. Ancient at 65× as a third fossil icon pushes the same harvest to sum 185 and bracket 183.
Event-only sourcing without weather invention
Because weather.ts does not list amber rain, do not cite a duration or schedule from outside the repo. Plant so maturity lands during announced dig or amber-rain style events described in mutations.ts, then harvest with the glow icon visible.
If Temporal Storm adds Ancient or Void while glow is present, count every environmental id once. Miscounting n swings value more than swapping Amber Glow for a neighboring fossil tag. Keep one growth mutation locked before you publish the calculator export.
Common questions
- Does Amber Glow replace Amber?
- No. Separate ids and multipliers. Both can contribute to the environmental sum when both appear on one harvest.
- Where is Amber Glow in weather.ts?
- It is not listed. Rely on the mutations.ts event description; do not invent a weather schedule for glow phases.
