Ancient is the fossil-toned event mutation for archaeology and temporal weather. At 65× it is a mid-high environmental weight—below Celestial and Cosmic, above many pet tags—and it is fully stackable within the env bracket.
mutations.ts describes fossilized ancient energy from archaeology events. weather.ts documents Ancient under Temporal Storm alongside Paradox and Void. Use those named sources only; no dig-calendar durations or guaranteed fossil radii are published in the data files.

Ancient is event-category, stackable, environmental in value math. Formula: growth × [1 + (Σ env − n)]. Solo Ancient → 1 + (65 − 1) = 65. Ancient + Amber (56×) → sum 121, n = 2 → bracket 120. Env tags do not multiply each other. Growth remains exclusive—one Golden/Rainbow/Shiny-class tag. Ancient is absent from CONFLICT_PAIRS; only growth exclusivity and unrelated pairs (wet/cold, Ember/cold, Mega/Tiny) constrain combinations.

Ancient applies a 65× multiplier in the event bracket. The table below shows the value it adds to a reference crop (base 50) across common harvest weights, so you can gauge how much this tag is worth before chasing it.

Some traders call any brown patina a “growth ancient.” In mutations.ts, Ancient is event, not growth. Verdant, Golden, and Rainbow compete for the growth slot; Ancient does not. That means an Ancient harvest can still carry Rainbow, and the sell line multiplies growth by the env bracket rather than replacing one with the other.
Temporal Storm also lists Paradox and Void. When those icons land with Ancient, add each multiplier into the env sum and subtract the tag count once. Three high event tags look explosive if you multiply them; the real bracket is 1 + (sum − 3), then a single growth factor.
Amber and Petrified are natural thematic partners for dig-flavored harvests. They are separate environmental ids; if both appear with Ancient, all three enter the sum. Nothing in mutation-conflicts.ts forbids that trio.
Plant so maturity lands while Temporal Storm (or an archaeology event described in mutations.ts) is active. Harvest with every icon visible, then check growth × [1 + (sum − count)] in the calculator instead of estimating from Ancient’s 65 alone.
