Playstyle
Mouse fits micro-plot speedrunning: one or two tile rows of quick-harvest crops where Nibble's growth tick shaves seconds that compound into extra harvests per hour. Swap Mouse out once mutation pets arrive — Nibble does not affect mutation rates. Cheap to hatch and cheap to replace.
Weight & trading
0.4 kg hatch weight is low even for commons, placing Mouse in tier D alongside Worm. Ability scaling per age level underperforms Puppy or Kitten at the same XP investment. Only age Mouse if you have no other growth pet — otherwise funnel XP elsewhere.
Nibble applies a tiny passive growth speed increase — smaller than Bunny Hop boost but without strict proximity requirements on some patches. Effect is always-on and global to your garden instance at higher ages. Does not stack multiplicatively with Hop boost; the game takes the higher growth modifier.

Speed crop pairing
Run Mouse on accounts farming low-value, fast-reset crops for XP or event currency. Nibble's marginal speed matters when harvest cycles complete in under two minutes — each saved second yields another full cycle per play hour.
Do not pair Mouse with Sloth Slow Growth — opposing mechanics waste one pet slot. Mouse is for speed; Sloth is for yield extension on slow crops.
Replacement timeline
Replace Mouse the moment Bunny, Fox, or Cat enters your roster. All three outscale Nibble before age 20. Mouse trade value is effectively zero — use as hatch fodder or collection filler.
Mochi Mouse is an unrelated legendary with Sweet Roll — do not confuse the two when searching trades or ability calculator presets.

- Does Nibble stack with Bunny Hop boost?
- Growth modifiers from different pets typically do not stack multiplicatively — the stronger effect applies. Bunny at similar age beats Mouse Nibble; running both wastes a slot.
- Is Mouse worth hatching at all?
- Only if it is your first pet or you need a common for an egg pity timer. Otherwise prioritize Bunny, Puppy, or Duckling for clearer returns.
