Volcanic + Molten (60×) → sum 98, n = 2 → 97. Volcanic + Infernal (67×) → sum 105, n = 2 → 104. Ember conflicts with Frozen, Chilled, and Frostbite; Volcanic itself has no cold CONFLICT_PAIRS row. Volcanic Ash’s bonus string is Volcanic, Ember, Burnt—three environmental ids. Seeing Ember on the same crop means cold tags are blocked by Ember’s conflict pairs even though Volcanic alone would not block Frozen.
Molten and Infernal are higher eruption-family neighbors from mutations.ts. They enter the same env bracket when present; they do not multiply Volcanic’s 38 into a product.
Solar and Sundried may pad further heat weeks if icons land; Radiant remains a growth competitor, not an ash bonus. Keep Rainbow or Golden as the single growth choice.
Do not teach a Volcanic-versus-Frozen exclusivity that the conflict file omits. Teach Ember’s cold blocks and Wet’s Frozen/Chilled blocks instead.
