Frozen conflicts with Wet, Chilled, Frostbite, and Ember in mutation-conflicts.ts. When Frozen forms, it replaces the Wet+Chilled moisture pair — you do not keep rain saturation or light frost beside full ice. Solo Frozen: envBracket = 1 + (10 − 1) = 10. Growth stays independent (one growth winner only).

Players often expect Frozen + Chilled + Wet as a triple. The conflict map forbids it: Frozen↔Wet, Frozen↔Chilled, and Wet↔Chilled are all blocked. Blizzard escalation that applies Frozen drops the softer tags; harvest value uses Frozen’s 10× in the env sum, not a stacked moisture history.
Frozen also conflicts with Frostbite (11×) and Ember (25×). Do not plan Frozen+Frostbite cold doubles — the calculator will refuse that pair. Compatible partners include tags outside the thermal block list, such as Moonlit (8×) or Pollinated (6×), which add into envBracket without touching the ice conflicts.
Frozen alone is modest: envBracket 10. Work a 2 kg crop with Golden (20× growth) and base 10,000 as successive multiplications: 2² gives weight² = 4; base × weight² is 10,000 × 4 = 40,000; growth lifts that to 40,000 × 20 = 800,000; Frozen’s envBracket finishes 800,000 × 10 = 8,000,000 Sheckles before friend boost. The value case is predictable blizzard uptime, not inventing extra cold multipliers.
Sell early in long winter events before Frozen supply saturates listings. If Wet already sits on a crop and Frozen would overwrite it, decide whether the ice tag’s higher multiplier beats keeping a rain stack you already planned around Shocked or Drenched.
