Aurora Fox is the mythical S-tier northern-lights specialist: Northern Glow pushes aurora and starlit tags when Aurora Borealis weather is live — not a general golden farmer and not a storm pet.

Aurora Fox hatches at 1.6 kg and grows with the formula W = (hatch ÷ 11) × (age + 10). The table below projects its weight at each age milestone so you can plan trade timing and weight targets.
| Age | Projected weight |
|---|---|
| Age 1 | 1.60 kg |
| Age 25 | 5.09 kg |
| Age 50 | 8.73 kg |
| Age 75 | 12.36 kg |
| Age 100 | 16.00 kg |
| Age 125 | 19.64 kg |
Keep Aurora Fox benched until Aurora Borealis (or documented aurora windows) appear on the weather list. Park it on high-base crops you are willing to hold through the polar window, then harvest after aurora/starlit icons show. Outside aurora forecasts it is mostly a weight specimen and S-tier trade flex — do not pay S-tier prices expecting year-round procs.
Hatch weight 1.6 kg (mythical). W = (1.6 ÷ 11) × (age + 10): ~1.45 kg at age 0, ~8.73 kg at age 50, exactly 16 kg at age 100. Medium-light for an S-tier mythical — lighter than Celestial Deer (2.4 kg) and far below Huge Cat (15 kg). Buyers often overpay for the S label; list hatch kilograms separately from mutation screenshots.
Northern Glow: aurora and starlit mutation during aurora weather. Catalog aurora is a high weather environmental multiplier; starlit is a mid night/polar pad. The roster does not publish proc rates, radius, or whether both tags can land the same harvest — treat the ability as aurora-window pressure, then verify icons in the harvest UI before WFL posts.
Plan plant finishes so maturity overlaps Aurora Borealis uptime from the weather reference. Pair with Crystal or Celestial pressure only when those icons also appear — Northern Glow does not invent Crystal Rain. If the sky never shifts to aurora, aging Aurora Fox still raises kilograms but does not create polar tags.
Celestial Deer covers celestial and moonlit more broadly; Aurora Fox is narrower and aurora-gated. Split roles: Deer for blood-moon/meteor celestial weeks, Fox for named aurora forecasts. Running both on one plot wastes a slot unless your garden has separate polar and celestial wings.
S-tier here is an editorial usefulness label for aurora metas, not a Sheckle price. Demand spikes when aurora events are announced and cools when the calendar is storm-heavy. Disclose that Northern Glow is weather-gated so buyers expecting Shocked or Rainbow help do not feel baited.
Check serials on high asks with the dupe calculator. A clean Aurora Fox at age 100 (~16 kg) still needs ability proof — weight alone does not show aurora tags landed.
