Abyssal is the deep-water weather tag for flood-soaked harvests. At 90× it ranks among the heaviest routine weather environmental multipliers—and it never occupies the growth slot.
mutations.ts ties Abyssal to heavy rain and flooding. weather.ts lists Wet and Abyssal under Rain, and Wet, Abyssal, and Overgrown under Heavy Rain. Keep mature crops out during those forecasts; flood elevation rules and pet-required procs are unpublished.

Abyssal is weather-category, stackable, environmental in cropValue. Sell math is growth × [1 + (sum of env multipliers − env count)]. Alone: 1 + (90 − 1) = 90. With Wet (2×): sum 92, count 2 → 91—not 90 × 2. Only one growth mutation applies. Abyssal has no conflict pair; Wet still cannot share a crop with Frozen or Chilled.

Abyssal applies a 90× multiplier in the weather bracket. The table below shows the value it adds to a reference crop (base 50) across common harvest weights, so you can gauge how much this tag is worth before chasing it.

A high weather multiplier does not multiply other env icons. The bracket subtracts one per tag so each environmental mutation contributes (multiplier − 1). Abyssal with Void (75×) yields sum 165, count 2, bracket 164—then one growth factor multiplies that bracket.
Rainbow or Golden can sit beside Abyssal because it is not growth. mutation-conflicts.ts blocks a second growth id. Finish high-base crops under Rain or Heavy Rain, then verify the harvest tag list before selling.
Heavy Rain favors Wet plus Abyssal. Choosing Frozen blocks Wet through documented wet/cold pairs, so a flood-and-freeze mix fails even though Abyssal itself does not conflict with Frozen. Pick rain stack or blizzard stack before the front changes.
Drenched can join the same env bracket when present. Count icons carefully—miscounting [1 + (sum − count)] swings value more than any related-slug suggestion.
